Boys & Girls: Australian Open 2022 (Weeks 3/4)

Matt Rankin appears to have grabbed the last main draw place in the Australian Open as both the Traralgon boys finals involve players not requiring Special Exempts .  Ranah Stoiber is also a main draw acceptance, but Louis Bowden and Patrick Brady will need to negotiate qualifying, starting tonight

In the doubles, Ranah is with a Canadian girl. In boys, Matt and Louis pair up, Patrick Brady also plays with South African Van Schalkwyk (sic).

All our Brits lose overnight, Ranah in singles and Louis and Matt in doubles; Patrick Brady and partner also lost, strangely retiring at 9-4 down in the MTB, why not just let the other guys win the point and see it through?
