Or just tactical, a calculated risk - i.e. better to have a 10% chance of being right on your own than a 50% chance of being right as part of the herd
Just my feeling but: we're not doing points for ranking and predicting future tournaments here (i.e. like the ATP where not counting a win by walkover makes sense)
We're doing wins in this event. Period.
And Dan 'won' - that's why he's in the next round.
FW has declared that a walkover doesn't count as a win in the other competition to guess the total number of wins at the tournament, so surely for consistency it should be the same here?
