The second set was a much briefer affair. That just leaves Hannah who keeps her unbeaten run in TE under 14 events going (14 or 15) and will be third on Centre tomorrow, attempting to match Laura Robson and Liam Broady as our last finalists (2008)

Mathilde takes a topsy-turvy first set against Hannah 7-5 (Mathilde led 3-1, Hannah served for the set at 5-4 and had 4 setpoints). Plenty of evidence of Hannah's chess-like understanding of possibilities, but the execution failed a bit too often, and she looked fatigued and a bit flustered towards the end of the set.
The French girl who, basically, Hep O had the beating of, leading 4-2 in the third, and clearly with the more penetrating and offensive game that day, and who then beat Hannah, went on to win the title in three sets.
Her name is Mathilde Ngijol Carre, for those who want to look out for her later.
And the Czech lad won, Maxim Mrva.
THis boy was described by the official French commentator (and I quote, it's not me saying it) as the most bad-spirited, anti-fair play, obnoxious player he'd seen for a long time.
