Emma - impressive first set despite low first serve percentage for her (50%). 2nd set, landed her first serve more often, some good shots but got careless at times, wasted numerous bps 2nd serves in the opening game of the set and lost focus when 5-0 up.

Katie Boulter - dominant performance despite shocking first serve percentage (43%), heavy groundstrokes troubled Price. Price continually went over her time limit when serving, then got annoyed when the umpire gave her a warning, and later a point penalty for delaying when Katie was serving.

US Open qualifying points won't be added this coming Monday. They won't add until the post US Open rankings on 13/09. All USO points get added on then.

Mariam had the trainer on for a MTO , and is having more treatment on her right thigh at the change of ends. Score is 2-3 in the final set so a way to go yet.

Why exactly is Bolkvadze 4th in LTA Combined Rankings ? I cant see any performance or nationalistic reason at all? Just saw her playing qualies here and need to ask !!

Or Conny Perrin for that matter!

I presume that they are both LTA members, so have a ranking.

Bolkvadze has played quite a bit in the UK in ITF events, and has a played in the British Tour in the past.
Both their points are all from WTA events

Watched Emma's match. It was a breeze, Emma was a class apart - great returns, heavier and more accurate groundshots.

If Jodie can move her around she will have more success.
Montgomery is just a big serve, big forehand with little movement.
