bet365 has 4 of our players odds on to win their QR1. 3 pretty strongly so, with 1 fairly tight and 2 a bit against.

In order of favouritism :
Emma  1/12 vs 7/1
Katie B  1/7 vs 9/2
Harriet  2/9 vs 3/1
Fran  8/15 vs 11/8
Sam  11/8 vs 8/15
Jodie  6/4 vs 1/2

Got to be thinking 4 or 5 through. 6 would be brilliant, less than 4 very disappointing given the draw.

Lovely picture quality on Amazon video of the qualifies, started already. Glad of bet 365 last week, but this is so much better.

It was a great set, but Hogenkamp now serving a bit better and cut out some of the wilder errors. Sam did have a break point right at the start of the set but missed the return on a strong first serve.

Yeah, Hogenkamp seems to have sorted out her first serve in that 2nd set.

Gosh. Sam creates 5 break points, each one courtesy of great and clever play, only for each one to be extinguished by a strong first serve from Hogenkamp. Had a proper play on maybe 1 of them?
