Well, they have more of a welfare issue now, IMO. With Matilda and Vidmanova having been on court 2h 40 mins and now about to enter the start of a third set.
A quicker third set sees Matilda through 7-5 6-7(3) 6-1. It remains to be seen whether a 3 hour match is sufficiently long for the organisers to hold back her scheduled round 3 to tomorrow
I am guessing that 4 Brits into the L16 stacks up very well against the norm?
Don't know about the norm - but I'm guessing you're right too - however, I looked at the 2019 results yesterday, and in the girls we only had one through to the L16 there (Matilda)
So, yep, miles better this year
I thought those were an excellent clutch of results, including Eva's, given her opponent and the match.

I cannot recall the last time we had 4 in the last 16. We nearly managed it in 2014 when Gabi Taylor, Maia Lumsden and Katie Boulter reached round 3, and Issy Wallace only just missed out.
They've changed the order of play to insert an extra match after chen's and before Kylie.
However, still don't think that'll be enough as Eala+ are into a third set.
Matilda has a not before 4 pm start time. Which is not only less than generous but unacceptable, in my view.
