Boys: 2021 Wimbledon (Week 27)

So, four R1 wins out of 12 in the boys

Just for comparison, we had 3 out of 10 in 2019 (Anton, Arthur Féry and James Story)

Jack is being severely tested by his Brazilian opponent who broke Jack twice in the second set to take it 6-4. However Jack has just broken for 2*-1 in the decider. Derrick is struggling against his Swiss opponent, losing the first set 6-1

That proved to be the turning point as the Brazilian began to make a number of errors and Jack cruised through the third 6-1

Patrick has just started and held a marathon 9 deuce opener, saving 6 breakpoints

It is only the girls who are scheduled to play 3 matches - the boys have one singles followed by one round of boys doubles today, which is normal. Shame they have had to withdraw though
