Will Jansen resumed, having lost the first set. And being in a tie-break in the second. With the score poised at 6-5.
And Will won the set 7-6(8)
Which will upset the tournament organiser rather, as that's another match that's going to drag on, and will need to be suspended again, but hey....
But seems his opponent is playing better and the second could well be tricky.....
And tricky it was..... as Roan lost very easily after that first set, scarcely scoring a game.
And, as 21.15, Will Jansen's match got finished - although unfortunately in the wrong way - with the American lad winning the third set 6-3
He was serving at over 200km p/h on certain serves, so it can't have been easy, and he was 4th seed, after all.
But after the joy of winning the U18 nationals, and a very good showing against Anton Mat. in Wimbly qualis, Will Jansen hasn't had a very good Roehampton or junior Wimbly..... :(
Will may be disappointed with his losses, particularly Roehampton, but without seeing either match it seems an impressive Wimbledon debut given his opponent, which he can build on next year.

He got tons of media press when he was only 6 (Patrick) because he played in some adult tournament in Ilford (with his Dad? In doubles? I seem to recall). His dad's a tennis coach, I'm pretty sure. (I seem to remember his mum came from China ? But I may be making that up 100% completely - apologies if so). I believe Patrick spent some time in Argentina to train, though.
I didn't know about Patrick's background but a google search confirms the Ilford/Argentina connections. There is some useful information about all the British juniors, including coaches and bases in some cases, in this LTA article
Patrick now plays the German who put out the French Open champion
