 I know !!! eyepopping.gif

Mimi was playing really well at the U18s, and seems quite comfortable on grass - lovely groundshots - but I didn't think she'd put out, as you say, the top 20 18-year-old (who has a CH of JWR 9). And in two sets. And not a complete quirk - because she's already beaten a top 50 youngster.

Both Alicia and Mimi play Czech girls - Mimi one of the much touted Fruhvirtova sisters, who is currently WTA355 having reached a WTA quarter-final

Alicia and Mimi lost to the eventual finalists - and Linda F has just taken the title in a 3 setter (with the French Open champion being Linda Noskova - we may be set for an era of domination from Czech Lindas)

And in the Wimbledon women's event the Czechs have the most in the L16 with 3 including the French Open champion, having had 5 in the L32, alrhough no Lindas. Sonething's been going very right there for a long time and looks likely to continue.

But only with the girls, it seems?
