I'll nominate Charlie Broom - I know it's a hard month, and poor lad will probably not get a vote, but an ITF doubles title is a great achievement, especially as he's outside the top 1000 and only made a QF before, I think.

As per CDs post in the Friday feeling thread, we are at the business end of week 1 of 4 in the august PoM period

Players left in pro action are:

Estonia is looking a happy hunting ground:

Luke Johnson - singles - 15k

Luke Johnson - doubles - 15k

Beth Grey - doubles - 25k


And the US too:

Tara - doubles - WTA500

Neal Skupski - doubles - ATP 500

Aidan - singles - 25k

As well as juniors like Eva Shaw and others.

So for this week, weve got Aidan in an itf final in the States today, Neal in a ATP 500 doubles final in Washington, today, and Flora Johnson winning a J5 title in Ghana yesterday.

As well as Liam, Harriet and Heather starting well in 1000 level qualies in Canada .

Well done Flora and good luck Aidan and Neal.

Nominate Harriet please, it's slim pickings at the moment but she hasn't had a great season so far so todays win was a much better result than I expected and I like that she puts herself out there in the big tournaments

 maybe we will see one or two additions this weekend to our list. 

im away on holiday over the weekend when Im posting the PoM polls this month. Posting the polls is simple but I dont plan to have access to players records to put up my usual summary. So this month Ill probably just post the poll (pretty sure it will be one simple list this month) and then maybe ask if someone else can do the little bio summaries of what each nominated player has achieved in august ?
