Shout out to Melanie South who is an excellent commentator and made the match even more enjoyable - she's so insightful and sharp on technique and tactics. Fortunate to have her on ESPN+! I hope the world feed, Beeb, Tennis Channel use her more.
I agree, she is great. BBC should fire 90% of it's commentators and try some new blood. Mel and Naomi B should be up there.. I turn the sound off when Andrew C, Tim H and John L are on and they are on A LOT! There was a Scottish guy commentating in the Quals that was funny and sharp. Not sure who that was

Agreed on Mel as a commentator. So frustrating that the BBC wheel out the same guys each year to commentate on (invariably) the British men matches. Their main qualification appearing to be an ability to be a sycophant and to do minimal research on anyone, other than on Murray.
There are exceptions to that rule (I don't mind McEnroe for example) but Castle, Henman, Lloyd, Petchey, Inverdale et al. are insufferable.
