Shame the draw wasn't done after all the women quals are done - is this normal or because of the rain delay earlier on in the week?
I see there are 2 QvQ/LL draws as well as the 3 Brits(!) so maybe Swan (should she come through) gets one of those spots. Or one of the other players...

it was always plnned to do the draws Friday, so the rain delay pushed back the womens qualifiers being known...

Do the qualifiers get placed as they qualify or at the end of qualies?

All the qualifying matches have finished, so the draw should be completed shortly.

Looking at the list of qualifiers there are quite a few I'd prefer our girls to avoid. Hopefully Pironkova gets the lucky loser spot (and also doesn't draw a Brit!).

Doubles draw:

Broady/Burrage vs (15)Kuzmova/Rus

Dart/Watson vs Kanepi/Zhang

Grey/Webley-Smith vs Martincova/Vondrousova

Moore/Silva vs (11)Siegmund/Zvonoreva

Bains/Murray Sharan vs Gracheva/Kalashnikova

Naiktha and Sam probably have the best draw. Beth and Em could make a good fist of that tie (although Vondrousova has reached the QF here and SF in Melbourne). Shame Tara and Eden didn't get more fortunate given how well they've been playing.

Emma gets Diatchenko - talented but streaky. Tough but winnable.

Heather gets Ahn who is the lucky loser. Has to win that.

Katie S gets Keys. One of the hardest placements, but great experience for her. I'm sort of the view that this is a good reward for her run, and she should be able to enjoy the experience with little pressure.

Katie B gets Lao. Been surprised by Lao's run this week. Again, she needs to be winning that.

Siniakova has just won two matches to reach the final in Bad Homburg.

I presume that means that she won't have to play Jo until Tuesday, regardless of which half of the draw plays which day ? Not long to recover with travelling over as well.

Hoping for a tough 3 setter in the final - something like 7-6, 6-7, 7-6 would be great :)
