How many British Main Draw wins will we get at Wimbledon 2021


I think I went for 33-34. Thought I'd been wildly over optimistic, but perhaps not!!

That all said we are still 3 1/2 short of the recent 5 year average and 12 short of 2017. However much I try I find 40 hard to imagine, the 31.6 average feels about beatable to me but also maybe about right.

I went for 35-36 and I now feel that was too conservative. I think Joe/Harriet will be Mixed doubles Champs.

With 9 players still standing and the normal expectation of losing 50% in each round we could possibly expect another 6 or 7 wins, so 333-34 would look to be a good shout. If Joe and Harriet do win then I think you could definitely be the winner Emmsie

and remember 31.6 is the average of the past 5 years of play; so with 31 we can probably say we are average...even though it feels more. Having said that, one definite to come so we are clearly WELL above average!
