So pleased to see I went too low with 29-30.

The 31 so far is made up of :

7 men's singles
4 women's singles
11 men's doubles
2 women's doubles
7 mixed doubles

Thanks Indy - with the way the mixed draw is standing, we can get a max of 8 more mixed wins and 3 mens, unlikely I guess but 11 total. So we will land anywhere between 32 wins (as we are guaranteed 1 mixed ) and 42 max.

I hadn't realised before counting up quite how many men's doubles wins we'd had, I was actually thinking it had overall maybe come up a bit short. But I was already forgetting that we had so many R1 wins.

Yes, it was a useful summary. Tx.

Big difference, as you say, between men's and women's doubles.

Love the mixed dubs boost

And the singles looked quite decent, I thought, laid out like that.

Re the first round dubs, it's worth remembering that it's £12k for a loss in R1  (per team) and £19k for a loss in R2

That's a decent slug of money for our dubs players, especially those at the financial margins

With a guaranteed win later in the Mixed that's me out now. Good luck to everyone who predicted a high number of wins. Let's hope our chaps can keep the wins going for another day or two at least.

I calculate 7 more wins possible, 5 mixed and 2 mens, so 42 is still our max level.

So 5 of our voters could win this prediction game still out of 33 starters

Joe + sadly loses in semis so our max drops to 40 wins now - down to 4 folks in the running.

Who voted 35-40?

Neal + make it 36 wins, one more certain to come later today

Will now finish in range 37-40.

That leaves two folks in it - one voted 37-38 and one voted 39-40

If you can remember who you are, those final two name themselves, remember you will be the champion Wimbledon Wins predictor!!

Can I just check? I'm probably completely wrong, but it looks as though we have 3 wins for Joe counted yesterday:

"And that makes 31...... (Harriet & Joe)" (CD)
"Joe + makes it 32 wins" (Jon)
"And joe and Harriet make it 35. End of day." (Jon)

Was one of them for the previous day?
Or is my brain suffering from tennis overload? (Probably!)
