How many British Main Draw wins will we get at Wimbledon 2021

So here are the rules:

British wins across all 5 disciplines ie mens/womens singles and doubles and mixed!!! yay I hear you say!

However, British wins  count as 1 in doubles where it is a pair or 1 if it is a single player of a pair. ie Ken and Neal winning equals 1 ; Jamie and Bruno equally equals winning equals 1.

So some history to help. Wins in past 5 years:

2015 - 26

2016 - 31

2017 - 40

2018 - 36

2019 - 25

Average over 5 years 31.6

So where does your vote  go?  Vote closes on Sunday evening around midnight!  I was going to wait but decided some may well want to start thinking on it!

I feel slightly negative about this, largely because I feel our mens doubles guys just arent performing at the moment - went for the 19-20 range

5 early votes in, thanks for those. Remember this is the last of these polls, time to close out as a winner, perhaps?!

First qualies winner - doesnt count but maybe slightly increases our chances overall. Mind you Anton beat a fellow Brit!

Anton, Felix, Arthur, Jack PJ all get singles wins in mens qualies today. Stuart P out on court still. Maybe we will see some of the womens matches played also...

Dont count to this but certainly bolster , potentially, the starting field in the main draws

so we have 4 men and 5 women left in action in qualies, got to be a hope we will see someone get through to the main draws, somewhere...probably famous last words

reminder that this poll will close to voting sunday evening - indy, would you do the honours maybe 24 hours in advance so that it closes to new votes ahead of play on monday...

But three of those women are still in round one. Three matches to go.

And the other six still have to win TWO more matches to qualify. Despite being huge underdogs.

Love you optimism. Not knocking it. Just saying.... biggrin

So no British mens qualifiers sadly, maybe Katie Swan will stay make it. That aside , the British field is known. Time to come off the fence?

It was 48 pairs in 2019, with 16 seeds given first round byes. According to https://wp.wimbledondebentureholders.com/2019/10/01/many-players-compete-wimbledon/ it is the same in 2021

ETA:- on the same site they are offering men's final tickets for £ 8,610 a pair - but you do get the full debenture works for that

so the singles draws are out, Katie Swan qualifies and we have 6 men and 9 women starting play next week in singles.

SO time to vote now folks - only 7 in so far , lets have lots and make this fun - polls voting will close Sunday night ahead of play starting so dont leave it too late!

Just recording my  guess as 27-29, for the record. It is difficult to pick.
