40 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming.
Finally a British woman wins a GB WTA Tour level singles event for the first time since Sue Barker won the indoor Daihatsu Challenge event in Brighton, 1981 (BBC tennis stat).

Well done Johanna re-writing the record books once more. The best GB woman player in decades.

Excellent, well done Jo. What was the intention behind the baltacha tribute , is it the anniversary of her passing ? Not questioning , just wondering the motivation ?
