Why? There's no requirement for players to quarantine.
You need to wait until you get a negative test result to be allowed on site I think. So it's basically a 24hr quarantine until you are released into the RG bubble.
Maddison Inglis is also out of qualifying - not sure if that means Jodie is 1st alternate or second.
I see in the main draw that Elena Vesnina is back with a protected ranking after having her baby - I think this must be her first tournament and I'd imagine she would be the player that every other player would like to draw in the first round, as she was mainly a doubles player who was only just in the top 100 for singles before the baby, and she is now 34 years old.

Inglis is accounted for so Jodie 2 out, Sam still on the list, might see some withdrawals today if people have to get a test done to be on site tomorrow for sign in

Very bad I'd say. Back inside the top 100, playing well, and although on hard court, won 2 and 1 when they met 6 or 7 months ago. Shame for Jodie as well after making the effort to get there.
Jodie should be in following late withdrawal of Flipkens. Because the OOP is out is should be a case of moving up Buzarnescu, moving the 33rd player to that slot, and Jodie then coming in there.
Main draw is out at 3.30pm UK today (instead of the originally planned 5pm).
While I would never wish for a specific withdrawal, I've kind of been hoping since Sunday that one of the seeds who were a doubt, and there does seem to be a few, would withdraw before the draw was released so that Paula Badosa would be seeded, but if they are 50/50, then it clearly makes sense for them to delay their withdrawal as late as possible, maybe even to look at the draw to see if that influences their mindset.
It'll happen all the time, players getting bumped from 33 to 32 after the draw has been made, and the subsequent draw rejigging, but I've never really had a player massively on my radar who was just outside the cut off. It must be weird for those type of players to not fully know who they are playing right up until when the first OOP is released. It can work both ways (and she could benefit from a kinder draw), but it would be awful if she drew the likes of WC Babel in R1, an out of form 17-24 seed in R2, someone like Bencic in R3 (who she has beaten twice on clay in recent weeks), so favourite to make the L16, and then all of a sudden a seed like Azarenka, Bertens, Riske etc. withdraws between the draw and when the first OOP is released, she is subsequently bumped to a seed, ends up playing an Ostapenko in R1, and a projected 1-8 seed like Barty or Swiatek in R3.
