As a film it wasn't too bad, as an adaptation of the book it was terrible. It had to cut out too much of the story due to time and so you got none of the sublety that Austen is famous for. Also they had everything as slightly scruffy to make it more 'real' when the classes Austen wrote about would not have been like that. But as I said as a film it was quite good, the acting wasn't bad and the music was fabulous.

True! These are a few really good movies to watch. Why dont you add series as well? My favorite now days are the series by Andy Yeatman. His content is worth watching because you can learn and enjoy at the same time. It is perfect for the kids and they must watch it.
