Maybe we should have our next Davis Cup home tie on clay

Home and away match tie Davis Cup format no longer exists

Isn't there still the one qualifying round each year? This years being played last March.

What has happened to Khachanov, he was destined for world number one and multiple slam winner, after that epic match with Nadal at UO few years ago.  Medvedev, Rublev and Kaarastev have all eclipsed him now.  He has a very strange forehand grip that either is unplayable or error prone depending on the day. Rod Laver even picked him out as the dead cert among that gen.

Indeed. Most of the finalists had to play a qualifying home/away round and that appears to remain the plan going forward. GB have avoided it this time by reaching the SF last time.

Rea cat and mouse between Dan and Moutet - lots of breaks, lots of mixing it up, a bit of facing off between the two of them....

They were arguing throughout their match at the US open last year also. Think it's a tactic from Moutet against Dan

The commentator (Colin Fleming?) confirms that Sebastian Prieto has been coaching Evo for the last few weeks.

Been checking score occasionally.5-4 to moutet on serve at the moment. When were the breaks? Id assumed it was probably all holds after all Dans bp saves recently. Really hoping he can keep this clay momentum going
