I don't know if this has been mentioned as I didn't know the guy's name so it might not have registered with me, and it's nothing particularly noteworthy, but I just saw this guy play yesterday and I was impressed that someone who had hardly no record at all had such a good level - so well done to Raff and hope US college tennis works out for him:

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) is proud to announce the 2022 Division I Mens ITA Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic Teams.
Tennis players are definitely some of the brightest student athletes. In 2022, 933 Division I Mens student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete and 163 mens tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements:
have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must meet the following requirements:
have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale)
all varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year

Mentioned in the 2022/23 US College Signings thread

The Billie Jean King Cup 2022 Tennis Championships comes to an end in North Macedonia. Unfortunately our playoff matches were not played today due to rain. The BJK committee will decide the final position of Ireland & Kosovo for 3rd and 4th.
Uni Delaware/Uni San Francisco student-athlete Caragh Courtney had 3 wins in singles, what a way to represent your country.
Just a little mention for the excellent showing of some of our current college players recently, for our 'general chat' part of this thread.
We've had Johannus Monday (age 20) zooming into the top 1000, having won a 15k, and making the semis in another
And now Toby Samuel (age 19) winning the 25k at Roehampton, and also going to be top-1000
James Story (age 21) made the quarters at Roehampton, as did Finn Bass (age 22)
Lui Maxted (age 18) and Finn Murgett (age 20) also played some very good tennis in their singles, and made the semis in the doubles (as did Finn Bass)
In the women, Alicia Dudeney and Indianna Spink played some very good tennis, both getting through the first round and Alicia coming mighty close to going even further
Georgie Walker was a good junior, one of the LTA picks, I think, and played a nice game, though probably never (IMHO) going to challenge at top level
However, she did well in her tennis in the US college programme and has absolutely aced her studies so big congrats to her
