Nice interview with Connor Thomson and Toby Samuel
(NB Love the stuff that Tennis Scotland post - SO much better than anything you ever find on the LTA site - good twitter, good posts - Tennis Scotland rocks !)
After 2 seasons at Baylor, Rahul Dhokia (UTR 12.76) is transferring and has verbally committed to @AggieMTEN for the fall of 2021 - Charlie B was playing #5 singles at Baylor, so guessing Rahul has been sat on the bench a lot and decided to transfer?
Oliver Tarvet (UTR 12.64) has verbally committed to @USDmtennis San Diego - nice part of the US weather wise! and will join the Toreros in the fall of 2022. The 17-year-old has an ITF juniors career-high ranking of #189 and is ranked #3 in Great Britain's U18 rankings. Will Davis currently a senior having transferred from Iowa due to loss mens tennis
Giacomo Revelli (UTR 13.17) has signed with @uclatennisand will soon be joining the Bruins for this semester. The 19-year-old Brit has an ATP singles career-high ranking of #1855 and trained at Rome Tennis Academy.

The ITA Regional Championships feature some of the top mens and womens players across the country.
Over 8,000 student-athletes from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, Junior and Community Colleges compete across 85 ITA Regional Championships around the country. In Division I, regional doubles champions and regional singles champions and finalists qualify for the season-ending ITA National Fall Championships
With our former college players doing well in the pros (thanks for updates CD) wonder how our current student-athletes will fare in the upcoming IT all American?
The event will be held with 229 guys starting in the PreQs from 67 different schools with 25 of out the 30 D1 conferences represented. In the preQ, 60% of the players and schools are midmajors with the remaining 40% lower line or bench players from P5 schools and a couple Ivys. The top guys in the Prequalis are UTR 13.0
The greatest thing about preQualis is that most years 1-2 guys win 8 matches to reach the main draw. It takes 4 wins to get in Qualis and another 4 into MD. Unlikely a Brit will do a Raducanu and win from the quailes, but that would be an achievement
In the main draw are Hamish Stewart (Georgia), Connor Thompson (S Carolina), Arthur Fery(Stanford), Johannus Munday(Tennessee),
Main Draw alts: Toby Samuel (S Carolina), James Storey(S Carolina) and Josh Googer (Florida)
Quailes Finn Murgett & Tad Maclean (Auburn), Finn Bass (Baylor), Matt Summer(Denver), David Stevenson &Oscar Cutting (Memphis), Chris Edge (Middle Tennessee), Samuel (S Carolina), James Storey(S Carolina) and Josh Googer (Florida) , Max Basing (Stanford),Lui Maxted (TCU), Emile Hudd (Tennessee), Ewan Lumseden (Washington).
Also a few Brits in the Pre-qualies where there are players from the lineup of mid to lower tier P5s-the teams ranked 30ish to 50ish.
A few Brits and all Brits pairs Stevenson/Cutting), Murgett/MaCleans, Summer/Daviesin the Doubles

Hi EP- how do these events stack up in terms of importance and quality against the NCAA event that was held earlier this year? Are they the fall equivalent and as big? Also, are these indoors, where are they played ?

The ITA Mens All-American Championshipswill take place in Tulsa, Oklahoma; October 2-10, 2021.
The event will be held at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Tulsa and Case Tennis Center at LaFortune Park in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pre-Q: 2 & 3, Q: 4 & 5, MD: 6-10th Oct.
Fall season is all about the individual rather than the team. The event in May is predominately a team event followed by a more smaller draw (in comparison to Fall) number of singles and doubles .
Appologies seem to have surpassed my normal quota of typos and predictive changes in my last post
