The girls have descended en masse at the J5 event in Ghana smile

Hephzibah O (age 13) is top seed (and with a BYE through to R2)

Lucy Webber (age 17) also has a BYE into R2 

Jade Cole (age 14) and Flora Johnson (age 13) are also playing 

 

In Egypt, J5, we have Fabio Nestola 

Also, the same players as last week, and a couple of new additions, in the Tunisian J4 which starts a day later

R1: Comfortable win for Fabio Nestola


Ghana, J5:

R1: A win for young Flora Johnson. Jadesola Cole lost, though.

Tunisia Cat 4 Yesterday Will Jansen won 2&1, imogen Haddad won 4&4 Tabitha Holmes lost 1&2 with Sofia Johnson and Roan jones still to play.  Maria Ustic lost 2nd round  qualies and Alaia Rubio Perez lost final round qualies.

Sofia Johnson and Roan both lost their R1 matches in Tunisia.

Fabio also lost his R2 match in Egypt.

In Ghana, however, there were R2 wins for Hep and Lucy Webber, but Flora Johnson lost out.

Accra, J5:

Lucy Webber lost but Hep Oluwadare got an easy win and is into the SF

(As top seed, and such a 'little star' , and despite being only 13 still, you'd think that this event has her name on it.....)

Dubs still to come (with Lucy+ playing Hep & Flora for a place in the final)


Fab Nestola and partner got a R1 win in the doubles, in Egypt.

Will Jansen lost but Imogen Haddad (age 15) took a clutch win, in a third set TB, over the top seed

She's into the QF.

Hep and FLora (the two 13 year-olds) beat Lucy and partner in two sets, and are into the J5 doubles final - good luck, girls

(Hep, of course, is also in the SF of the singles and going for the double)
