Go Bob & good luck. Do you get any respite at Christmas?

I look upon Xmas as a time to double my efforts.  I am as Bah-humbug as it comes with regard to Xmas. When people ask me what my plans are, my standard answer is "lock the door and wait until it's over". wink

So with no work commitments, I will be doing double time on the exercise regime during this period.

I might indulge myself though and treat myself to an additional Marmite sandwich for Xmas lunch.

I am with you on Marmite - two comments though Bob. Toast, white toast and butter, not bread, please!

And have you tried Marmite XO ? https://www.marmite.co.uk/products/marmite-xo-yeast-extract-extra-old-250g.html

That is for true afficionados!!!

In my humble opinion, nothing beats the original!

Bob, close your ears..... Hot sausages in a marmite sandwich takes some beating!!

Marmite on toast with melted or grated cheese !

I'm not averse to a bah humbug sort of christmas, so long as there's lots of mince pies and perhaps a little marmite on the side - need to get out and about and do, in order to avoid the awful tv smile

Just to add to this thread - I am going to follow Bobs lead and also take a break. Ive spent too much time on here, the polls have taken over my enjoyment of tennis and I want to get that back. But I also want to spend less time here as it is distracting me. I thought of closing my profile and walking away but dont want that as I like and enjoy the board. I hope I wont be gone long and will probably linger a little today but hope to keep away by and large for a while and not doing the voting processes will help me wean myself off it a little.

Can I wish you all a happy Christmas and hope I will see you all in the new year at some point - as the French say, this is not goodbye, it is au revoir.

Yeah, step back and enjoy from a distance, Jon, and then just dabble when you have a moment. But don't go !!!!

Have a lovely christmas X

Yeah, I certainly wont go - it would be typical me, my wife would say, to theatrically disappear , close my account and then regret it immensely in the background. I am sure I will be back in a few weeks and posting but for now Ill take a little time
