Gordon hasnt won a slam singles since 2016 when he won Wimbledon and Australian. This would be a massive comeback for him. Gerard is a good player though, won the Aussie Open earlier this season.

British Open later in July - super series
Paralympics at end august - Olympics
US Open - September - slam
USTA Championships - super series
World Team Cup in Italy - end September
NEC Masters - end October
British Open is underway in Nottingham - there are mens, womens and quads singles and doubles, and junior events as well.
Looking to our usual top 5 of Alfie, Gordon, Jordanne, Lucy and Andy to produce some home soil results, some other unknown (to me) names also playing and will be interesting to see if anyone can break through this week
In singles play today, Alfie and Gordon both through to the last 8; in womens singles, Jordanne is through, but Lucy went out early; Corneila Oosthuizen beat fellow Brit Abbie Breakwell and is in the last 8.
In quads, Andy Lapthorne very disappointingly lost his opener as 2nd seed and we have no Brits left in that category.
Mens doubles - Alfie and Gordon into semis
Womens - Jordanne and Lucy into semis
Quads double - Andy and Antony Cotterill into final
Mens singles - Alfie into semis; will play Gordon or Joachim Gerard in semis
womens singles - Jordanne Whiley into semis
quads singles - all knocked out
Gordon did really well to upset the 3rd seed and now plays Alfie in the semis. Gordon reached the Wimbledon final of course, so this would be a fabulous double if he can upset alfie .
