A bit tough on those who were injured. As an example, Mason Recci won only one match has now has 5 points. Luke Johnson won 2 matches but has zero.
Edit
CD beat me by a few seconds, to say much the same.

Does seem unfair I agree. clearly just gone on final positions. You could get a place As a replacement directly into the final and pick up 18 points with a final walkover. Or so it seems?
No, can't be final positions - as said, Andy Watson is there even though he withdrew
The difference may be that Andrew Watson finished his Round Robin matches and therefore had a position in the table before pulling out in the play-off stages whereas Luke only played 2 complete matches before withdrawing.

OK...... I'm with you......
But Tom Hands' points then don't go to anyone?
Tom played on Sunday and won - who gets his position points?

but Watson was officially placed 6th in his group with a zero to five record and thus came 11th or 12th , and was placed 12th?

You got me. I have no idea. It does seem a tad confusing and certainly a little unfair. RR points should be given for matches won and not for final position.
So Tom hands got nothing for his last day win apart from some cash presumably. So you need to finish your league group and then youre in top 12 and then positions go to those 12. Presumably a 3rd place position in group puts you 5-8 final places, and then if you withdraw youd end up 8th overall...

Oscar despite losing to Tom got 11th as Watson pulled out.
I think I have seen this mentioned somewhere on the board but can't remember which thread, also thought it deserved it's own thread. Anyway UK Pro series should be back this year. However spread over the year. With 8 weeks and then the classic finals week. Website says total prize money of over $500k. Points system looks the same.
Week 1 15th-21st February Week 2 1st-7th March Week 3 15th-21st March Week 4 5th-11th April Week 5 19th- 25th April Week 6 12th-18th July Week 7 4th-10th October Week 8 18th-24th October Week 9 1st-7th November (Classic Week)
Will be interesting to see what sort of entry it pulls considering it will be competing with the tour, guaranteed matches and income against ranking points. Also wonder what the base appearance fee will be this time, think it was $1000 in 2020.
Website for those interested: https://www.ukproseries.com/

Week 6 - 23rd to 29th August (squeezed in new date to catch up)

welcome news and particularly in that autumn spell as the season closes.
i notice they have stopped using the phrase classic week for the last event and are now calling it the finals weeks - much better. classic never meant anything to anyone
Week 5 - 12th to 18th July Aldershot Tennis Centre
Week 6 - 23rd to 29th August The Harbour Club, London
Week 7 - 13th to 19th September Bath Uni
Week 8 - 27th September to 3rd October TBC
Week 9 - 25th to 31st October Bisham Abbey
Week 10 - 8th to 14th November Shrewsbury Club
Week 11 - UKPL FINALS WEEK - 6th to 12th December The Copper Box, Olympic Park London
Assuming the last venue is aimed at getting fans in. Could be tempted with a trip to that.

Copper Box sounds interesting and perhaps they are hoping the wild cards will be decent names ?

Not sure if the Shrewsbury Club is in Shrewsbury but sadly these all seem very southern oriented venues
