Big fan of both Beth and Eden, but glad it's the two Pro League veterans (Sonay & Freya) who have made it to the final - would be happy with a win from either :)

Yes agreed. It doesn't seem too fair that higher-ranked wild cards can waltz into the finals and take the big money prizes away from those who have battled to get there by right. Unlike last year none of the 6 wild cards have reached a final in either of the singles.

Yea, good to see all 4 finalists are players who qualified through the league tables. Anton v Henry and Freya v Sonay should be good games

I see Sonay is 4-0 over Freya , all in these UK pro events, this year and last year . Anton similarly is 2-0 over Henry in these events, both in same week as it happens in April.

Would Katie Swan have been favourite for this if she hadn't pulled out after her win in Estonia?

So, in the men, Dan Cox comes third, and Giles Hussey fourth, after Dan beats Giles, 6-3 6-3

Anton ahead 6-2 4-4 versus Henry in the mens final; Anton dominating much more than I expected; despite world rankings, I thought Henry would be much closer

And Anton takes the title 6-2 6-4, well done to him

Would be interesting to see Antons true ATP ranking if he played more regularly. Reckons hes at least top 250.

Well, he's played 6 events in the last few months. Which is not nothing. (And not counting UK Pro). From what I can see, he was pretty much focused on tennis.

He got knocked out of all of the 25ks pretty early. And the one challenger.

It wasn't all that encouraging.

He's obviously got a lot of room for upside (most players at age 20 do have). But I don't think his current ranking is that far off, and it's not like he's only played one or two events recently.

Jay has lost the first set 3-6 to Billy

Now has the trainer on. Not sure for what (left shoulder? left side?. My screen is fuzzy.

Do hope all's OK.
