They are only playing half of the quarter finals tomorrow, and Josh and Charles are playing in the 9th-12th playoffs. So James has an extra 24 hours to sort his back out.

Men's QF1:- Giles Hussey v Billy Harris (A2 v C1)
Men's QF2:- Julian Cash v Anton Matusevich (D2 v B1)

Women's QF1:- Emily Appleton v Eden Silva (D2 v B1)
Women's QF2:- Freya Christie v Katie Streanova (A2 v C1)

Thanks TA- slightly earlier schedule start as well for some reasons, 12 noon.

Jay v Dan Cox and James Ward v Henry Patten on Friday , those are two attractive looking matches.

Have you seen that somewhere, or are you guessing ? Could it be Jay v Henry and James v Dan ?

The remaining women are

A1 Lily Miyazaki
B2 Laureyn John-Baptiste
C2 Sonay Kartel
D1 Beth Grey

Im guessing to be fair but based on swapping over the a v c and b v d pairings which is what usually happens. But it may not of course!

it would seem to suggest the bottom half of the draw play tomorrow and the top half Friday, if Im guessing right . But it is a complete but maybe educated and maybe wrong guess!

Early start is because of a pro-am in the evening. In other welcome news Court 2 has been moved and is now visible for viewing.

Just tuned in for the Billy - Giles match. Said that James has withdrawn. Sean into the 1/4 finals. Ewan Moore into the 9-12th place section.

This just got confirmed in commentary. Although now Sean Hodkin instead of James Ward.

Sean is a lucky chap - 2 straight sets losses and now a decent QF pay day on the cards!!

Thanks Madadman - I quite fancy Henry to take this title this week, I really do, and playing Sean Hodkin now should be one he will expect to win , for sure

Nice win for Freya. She was slightly the outsider on that one.

Yes, 2 & 4 is a good score.

Alice beat Emma 2 & 2 in the 9-12 round robin.
