So what's the situation regarding the 12th player? Will there be a further WC announced, or will they just go with the 10th in the standings?
It'll be interesting to see how Sonay matches up with the likes of Katie S.
One would imagine they would be trying to attract a bigger name player than whoever might end up 10th, otherwise why bother with the WC? With Jay and James Ward in the mens, Katie and Sam Murray in the womens, they seem to have done that with the first 4 announced, but a similar stature player or better would help a lot eg Kyle for the men perhaps, or someone from lower down the top 10, like Jan Choinski for example who might benefit from this event
I hope they don't go for too big a name on the men's side - whoever gets the wild card needs to be at a reasonably close level to the rest of the players to keep it competitve. I'd like to see the women's WC go to someone like Katy Dunne who seems to be back in full training, or Jodie who is also just about ready to reesume matches. Of course the next in line would be Beth Grey, Lauryn John-Baptiste or Alicia Barnett. Maybe they are holding it until they see how Lauryn does this week.

Yep, Katy or Jodie would be a good addition to the entry and make sense if they could get them in.
I agree re keeping it competitive, although a newly back Kyle might work in that respect!

I don't think it would be appropriate for Kyle even if it was his 1st tournament back. Ideally you want the maximum number of players to benefit from it, having Kyle in there ripping it up would be pointless for anyone playing him in my opinion, same with Andy. I wouldn't mind seeing Joe Salisbury or Neal Skupski in there are a proper WC though.
I'd imagine the last WC on the mens side might be Draper, Jubb or Peniston. Although not sure if Jack would be the right choice due to injuries and the week long schedule.
