So at the end of the grass season, there are a few changes in the rankings, and a bit of movement in the predictions competition. Indi jumps clear in the lead, and would probably be even further ahead if Katy Dunne had been playing this year.

As discussed some months ago, a single substitution can be made for any of your players. Your substitute must have been nominated with predicted ranking before the competition started (one or two didn't give a ranking so are discounted). Your substute will adopt the GB ranjing prediction of the person replace, but will have their own WR. So, for example, if you had Jo Konta as GB No 1 with a prediction of WR14, and replace her with say Emma Raducanu with a predicted WR of 200, the Emma would become your GB1 prediction with the WR of 200. No other players would change. You have until midnight on 25th July to  make your substitution.

Ha, Emma coming from so far back to GB#4 WR 179 against my prediction of GB#4 WR 180 was rather useful!

However hers and a few other particularly WR predictions, while splendid for July, I suspect will not look nearly so good in November. Loads of jeopardy re me staying anywhere near my current score for when it matters.

Im not sure I proposed a substitute name way back when ( I recall saying the whole thing confused me immensely!) so I will no bid on the opportunity to improve my ten player squad and have faith it will all work out in the end!

I'm sure others will be swapping out poor Katy as well. She appears to be doing some training, but it does look like it will be a while before she can compete again.

Went back and found my prediction list (which, frankly, I thought looked pretty amazing - I was dead pleased - I was expecting way more manky than that......no idea why I haven't got more points, to be honest )

But my Marni ringer seems to be unlikely (and this might give her a boost), so I'd like to sub in Katie Swan for Marni. Which, I guess, would leave it looking like this:
