A 4th W15 final in 5 events (within 6 weeks) for Joanna Garland, and she faces Jasmine's conqueror Sun in the final tomorrow.
She's pretty much 2 years younger than Emily Appleton, and it kind of reminds me of her a bit, as she made a number of W15 finals at a similar age 2 years ago. Emily has since struggled at W25 level, so it'll be interesting to see how Joanna does is the coming years in the bigger events as her ranking improves, but I think these events have generally been stronger (due to the worldwide situation) and she's beaten a few top youngsters, and a bunch of circa WTA 300 players, including (this version of) Katie B, this past month, so that should stand her in better stead going forward, whereas Emilly's seemed more like a global tour with some random locations.

Is it unusual for a player to do so many consecutive tournaments at a single venue?
Wow! I had no idea jasmine was still in Egypt competing Good week for her. I would love to see how she plays as I cant find any footage anywhere. Was there a link to watch the QF in Sharm?
