I hadn't realised she was Scottish. They seem to turn out some amazing players.

My understanding is that she's not actually Scottish (more London/Middlessex, I think)

BUT she went up to the academy at Stirling and was based there for quite a long while

So she's sort of Scottish by affiliation, if you would 

(Just my understanding, could be wrong, and - either way - yes, good Scottish ties now, giving good results, and VERY nice of LTA Scotland to post her a happy birthday - their social media is SO much nicer than the LTA's)

I noticed a while back somewhere that she used to train at Batchwood Golf and Tennis centre in St Albans, Hertfordshire - which I always remembered cos at the time I used to pass it every Sunday.
