Based on betting odds this week I'd expect Katie to be the pre match favourite, at least at the bookies, although if you did back her at 1/3 this morning, you'd have been sweating a bit after that first set, ha.
Just to point out that the loss to Joanna in November was Katie's first match back after the injury sustained in the Fed Cup in February.
Who then ought to be the favourite?
I hope it isn't first set Katie who turns up tomorrow, was she still half asleep or something?

Thats typical Katie, she always takes a while to play herself into the match. It's fine at this level as she is a class above but it is something she will need to combat as she gets back into the top 100.
I know we can be a bit Brit'-centric on here, but in this case I do think that it is very much about what % Katie we have, given a 100% Katie would walk it.

If Garland wins then we can say she's really British anyway!
She's been playing in Sharm the previous two weeks though, might her match fitness be sharper than Katie's?

8am start tomorrow, presumably taking into account the clocks going back later on, but it could well be a case of me just catching the final stages once I'm up.
