I just remembered this whilst watching Dan and technically my vote is too late according to the discussion above. For what it's worth I voted 9. Based on the stats in Jon's earlier post I think 6 is more realistic but at the US Open I found it depressing winning a prediction competition when the results were poor so I have decided to join the optimists.
Dont worry SuperT, no real hard or fast rule. No match has finished involving Brits so reckon we can include you...please vote if you havent done so!
I hadn't realised I'd gone for the same prediction as Jon. I thought I was being optimistic, but now now I really do not want to win this again. I just hope I'm not jinxing things for Jo, Jamie and Neil in the next round!!

Oh no! Joe and Rajeev have lost when the number of wins got to my prediction which is exactly what happened at the US Open. I just hope the curse doesn't strike Jamie and Neil as well!!
Well, jamie and neal are our last players standing. I'd be interest to know how many times Jamie has been the last Brit over the past few years, bet he and Andy between them have been last Brit 90 percent of the time since 2010?
So that is it, Jamie and NEal lost, so 9 wins it is. I take no pleasure in saying that was my vote, not usually right.
Someone who is normally right, it seems, is SuperT who also voted for 9 wins and not only that but also got it right in the US Open.
SuperT therefore has two grand slams wins in the year and, given there are only 3 this year, probably becomes our year end #1!!!
Well thank you Jon for those kind words but I would have been much happier if our doubles boys had won their matches and I'd been wrong. I seem to have just hit lucky this year as in the past my predictions have been way off.
