Parmar has beated him twice but he did beat Colin Flemming 6-2 6-0 in the Sunderland Challenger last year.

The match is tomorrow, 3rd on Court 1 with a 10.45am (9.45amBST) start. Any time after 1 pm here maybe?

Last time they played was in May 2004 in Ettlingen Challenger qualies and Granollers-Pujol gave Andy a good thrashing, 6-1, 6-3. It capped a very disappointing clay-court season and almost immediately afterwards, Andy broke off with Alvarez.

However, a year later Andy is in a different class and will win in straights.

Fleming v Granollers-Pujol would have been close on indoor hard but Colin was ill and jet-lagged and played terribly that day - Madeline can testify !!

Monfils up and down playing Galvani at the moment.


Monfils won the 1st 6-2 and now 2-2 in the 2nd....


With any luck Andy will be on around 1.30pm our time.
