I think that he will get a top 16 seed, that will prevent him from playing any of the other big guns. Although he is not amazing on clay, this will help him.
does the RGQ lists come out this week? will alex really make top 16? i can see him making the top 32 tho.
with a decent draw and a healed leg i think he can qualify, just got to hope you dont get a clay specialist. his win over greul last year was good, but gicquel just out hit him 2nd round.
at least we will get some live scores on one of his matches :)

Alex will definately be seeded which as you say, will help as he won't play another seed until rd3. I'm confident he'll have a good chance if he isn't still injured as he's playing better on slower surfaces now.
Hopefully the weather in Paris will be hot because that will mean that the clay will be faster and it'll play more like a hard court which will suit Alex. If the clay is damp and slow, I wouldn't fancy Alex's chances against some of the Czech/Italian/Spanish players as they'll be more consistent.
When will the RG qualies draw be out, I think it's sometime this week ?
Having done some research I've found that the RG qualies list was out yesterday but can't find it anywhere yet.
Aswell as Boggo, hopefully Lee, Bloomers, Mackin and Baker will make it.
Arvind could make it with his ranking but he's gone for extra practise on the grass for the last couple of years so his decision is likely to be the same again this year
