What are the rules around playing Kitzbuhel, if you are in the US Open? Presumably you cant play qualies at all if you are in the main draw of US Open, and cant play main draw if still in USO by a certain date?

I don't know the precise check-in rules/dates but I would have thought players exiting the US Open early enough could play Kitzbuhel qualies as well as MD, if no quarantine required.
Is Boulter down for any tournaments? Was training on clay on Instagram today.
Strange decision to skip the US Open when she wasn't willing to risk her back on clay in Mexico in February. With the scarcity of ITF tournaments it will take even longer to get back into the top 100.
Thanks JonH for the entry list. You do need to look a little further down though as with the multiple entries at this stage those in qualifying may well make the main draw somewhere.
So here are a few I've spotted in qualifying at the moment
ITF W60+ - Saint- Malo (Clay) - Amanda Carreras, Emma Raducanu
ITF W25 + H - Figuera Da Foz (Hard) - Freya Christie - high alt

February is quite a time away now. Maybe she feels more confident in her back recovery in a way she didn't then. Plenty of good reasons to skip going to the US as well. All you can do is make a decision with the information you have at the time. Maybe she regrets the USO decision, maybe she doesn't. Only Katie will know.
Tuesday was the withdrawal deadline for the ITF's this week. So here is a full list of those still on the women's acceptance lists as of 27/8/20. I've included all of the alts as well, even though most of them won't make it to qualifying.
