Looking at Istanbul entry and those still in us open, there are quie a few in singles or doubles. Heather could well be seeded here, assuming she is still playing?

Naomi Broady is in Istanbul - haven't seen her name on any lists though - maybe doubles ?

Emily Webley-Smith is also there - and Harriet is travelling there from Prague today.

Harriet has landed in WTA Instanbul quals, 7th Q seed, and has a winnable Q1 against a home player. Could face Gasparyan in the FQR.

Not bad, 12 points and $1,630 for turnng up to play a wind card ranked 430

The drawsheet I see on the ATP/WTA app shows these ranking points but the points are on the wrong lines. It should be 1 point for turning up, 12 points for reaching the FQR and 18 points for qualifying

Still though a very good chance to get at least 12 points.
