BIG win for Ali Gray, straight sets and takes him to top of the group, ahead of Anton who was in the top 2.

going to be a very tight finish to this group!

Really interesting to see how the top will shape up with Ali, Anton and Dan all in the mix. I think Liam will come top. Billy might still be in with a shout but has to beat Liam.

3rd straight MTB loss for Julian Cash, Henry Patten winning it. Probably takes Julian out of the mix as well as Henry now in group b, although they were just about out of it anyway

straight sets win for Dan and he is well in contention in his group, should be 3rd place at end of day.

A straight sets win for Billy over Liam would certainly make this an interesting table at the end of the day.

I hope I'm not putting the mockers on Dan's chances, but he seems to be going from strength to strenght at the moment.

Wow, stunning win for Arthur over Ryan. Puts him a real battle now for 2nd spot in this group, several players in the hunt still

Very good from Arthur but to be honest, with the form he has been showing, I didn't really see it as a surprise.

I suggested yesterday that Arthur vs Ryan might be pivotal as to the second SF qualifier with probably James. And it was certainly a tight one.

Arthur has got Henry and Julian left to play, with James and Ryan still to play each other, so he is looking very well placed now.

Dino won the opening set 6-0 but is down a break in 2nd. If Johnson can pull it round, the group will become very interesting

... not so much the result as the bottle to come back from a set down against a  more experienced player and to win the MTB in a tight fashion.

Well done, young Arthur.

He's certainly putting together a super summer season - really pleased for him, my little quasi-Frenchie.

I feel quite sad for all our top 2002-ers, who've missed the last chance of junior Grand Slam success.

So glad he's got something to smile about.
