UJ team are a set up in both mixed matches and looking likely to win both. Those are worth 3 points between them. A ladies singles and the 3 point mens doubles to come later.

Yes UJ need all the wins they can get. As even if they do win every match for the rest of the day it still puts them behind the Bulldogs by close of play ... so serious catching up required. Every match counts!

 Come on UJ!

 I' m supporting the Bulldogs

I think some of the lesser players have played really well. With it being a team event it's not all dependent on 1 player.

Cam 4/4, Joe 3/3, Kyle 2/3, Aiden 1/1, Liam 1/2, Alistair 1/2, Dom 1/3,
Lloyd 2/3, Jan 1/2, Jamie 1/4, Dan 1/5. Ryan 0/1, Andy 0/1, Anton 0/2

Emma is having a great week. I'm glad of the opportunity to have seen her play. I hope she stays injury free and motivated for the future.

Not far short actually. Need another 31.The points collected each day have been consistent. For the Union Jacks 4,4,4 Bulldogs 9,9,11. It has been pointed out that in the first 2 days all the MTB's had been won by the Bulldogs. Heather's win in 3 sets was the first for the  UJ's. It could have been so much closer.  Just checked and the Bulldogs have won 8 matches on the final set tie break as opposed to the Union Jacks 1.  12 team points were involved  in these 8 matches so if the tiebreak results had been reversed it would be UJ's 24 Bulldogs 17. A bit like England football team in penalty shoot outs.
