Santoro/Zimonjic vs. Henman/Murray

I'm up and about and once more condemed to watching live scoring.

If anyone is watching this on the TV, some (however infrequent) updates on the general flow of the game and how the Brits are performing (esp. Andy), would be very welcome.

Thanks,

Keith.

RE: Santoro/Nimonjic vs. Henman/Murray

I came dashing to the computer thinking it would have already started, but it is not showing any score. Anybody any idea why not? I have asked on MTF in case there are any locals online who can tell us if it is raining or something.

I'm condemned to a live scoreboard too

Also, does anyone know anything about Nimonjic? I've read his profile on the ATP site, but have never seen him play (or ever really heard of him), so I was just wandering if anyone knew anything about his style of play, etc..

Thanks again,

Keith.

It is Zimonjic, there is a typo in the heading.

He is a very good doubles player, quite highly ranked. I have seen him last year but can't remember very much about his style.

He is one of the Serbian who beat Andy and Greg in the Davis Cup recently!!

Morning Madeline,

Hopefully you're up and running.

1-0 to the Brits on serve.

Was it Tim serving?

The frustrations of live scoring

I see they have started now, but there doesn't seem much point in posting scores - we might as well just watch the scoreboard. I hope somebody watching the match on tv can comment occasionally.

Brits leading 2-1 on serve.

Henman served first. Won to 30. Zimonic to 30, Murray defending the deuce court, playing well.
Good serving by Murray, won to 15.

Both look comfortable against top 12 doubles players.

Will try and update next break!!

Sorry about that. Late night last night and I don't know how to edit the title. (Probably not allowed to!)

They`ve both held serve so far. Tim has had a lot of successful interventions at the net.

BREAK!!

Henman missed first break point, then chose to receive the deuce point (new doubles rule), played a lovely shot down the line which was just in.

Hi Sal, are you watching and running up and down stairs? Who served first of our pair?

Keith, I don't think it is possible to edit the heading, you will have to live with your shame!

4-1, great serving by Tim (plenty of big first serves), served up a nice easy put away for Andy for the game

Morning, GC. I edited your ranking post last night as it hadn't been done for a couple of days, I hope you have checked to make sure I didn't drop a clang.

4-1, 15 all on the oppo's serve, come on lads!

5-2, Murray holds to 15, some good serving, a couple of great pick ups and nice volleying from both of them. The seeded pair aren't looking very comfortable against the great play from the brits
