This is going well. Must admit, pre-tournament (but seeing the draw), I thought Andy was going out second round vs. Nadal, but thought the doubles with Tim (twice winner) was a great opportunity. Hope they prove me right.
Thanks for the updates GC77 and Sally.
Madeline, I thought Moderators were all powerfull!!! Shame on me, but any depression and suicidal tendancies have more to do with last night's pub exploits than getting the boy from Belgrade's name wrong :-; (And no, no details will be provided)

I could delete all your posts but not alter your heading! So not all-powerful.
5-3 and serving for the set, I must say this is going better than I expected. I hope they can keep it up!
First set to the Brits 6-3, came through a tough game to win on the deuce point. Henman missed a couple of first serves early, then Andy missed a cut-off volley (after playing a great shot to win the previous point), but a couple of good serves and some nice solid play (great pick ups from Henman), won the game and set
Henman broken straight back - Andy missed puting a way a couple of volleys, and henman missed one difficult pick up. Saved 2 bps but couldn't save the third

Have edited the the thread title for you Keith
Ah, the all powerfull one returns!
Anyway, looking at the combined stats, I see our lads have a 74% 1st serve. Can anyone watching confirm that Andy's serve is looking better, or is Tim on 100%
2-1 Santoro, won another deuce point against Henman - floated second serve, Henman hit the tape. More great returning from both brits, especially Murray, a few missed put aways though.
They've been playing as a pair since Feb this year with a fair bit of success: QFs in Rotterdam, Indian Wells and Miami plus a semi in Dubai.
Santoro is the world no 10 at doubles and a former world no 1. He's renowned on the circuit for the incredible angles he gets through wristy shots and also his cunning slices and dropshots - his game is more about the aesthetic nature of the tennis rather than power. Sampras once dubbed him "the little magician."
Zimonjic is the world no 12 at doubles and is a former world no 3. He's played several times with henman in the past - he's a great volleyer.
Emphasizes how fantastically well the Brits are doing

Apologies for jinxing them, maybe I should head back to school
