We went on hols to South of France around 3 years ago, flew with BA to Nice. I managed to use my Avios points and got an upgrade to fly Club Europe (before anyone asks, I cant afford to pay the prices but Avios points come in handy sometimes). Elaine Paige was sat in front of us - she lives in Nice for much of the year and used to fly back each weekend to present  her Radio 2 show around Music from shows and then head back to Nice. She was on her own, but I remember her having two of the most enormous glasses of Rose wine on the flight, she certainly seemed to like a glass of wine and I can imagine ****tail parties sit nicely with that!
