Welcome to the board diana. The board usually looks at all things tennis from a British point of view but as there is no competitive tennis due to Covid 19 we are also distracting /entertaining ourselves by eg this game and the various tennis polls which I recommend that you look at and maybe cast your vote.

I'm in agreement with you re not explaining reasoning for pairs, at least not in the first instance ( useful service though it may be for Jon ) or putting behind a spoiler. I do think part of the fun is sometimes not initially getting the adversarial connection.

Greg Holmes (an American player of the 80's who played at Wimbledon) and Heather Watson. Looking at the first page I think it should have been enemies not friends . However it could be Greg Holmes and Ross Moriarty the Welsh Rugby player.
