The initial start time for the match had not taken into account the fact there was a mens match sandwiched between the 2 ladies matches. Now one start time I have seen is 21.00 hours and the other 21.15.
It'll be Potapova in the QFs if Jo gets there as the Russian has produced another Houdini act - 1-6 3-5 0-40* down to Zidansek, broken in each of her first 8 service games (worse than Gabi...), in tears speaking to her coach Ian Hughes during the OCC sessions, but fought back to win the 2nd set TB and then eased through the 3rd.
Hopefully Jo joins her later!
Edit - and the men's match on centre barely lasted an hour, so Jo should be on at 9pm as originally forecasted.

Jo, bless her, is doing all the right things, or at least trying ......better to lose and play a positive, forward game, against someone like Maria, than get sucked into her chippy choppy horror ....
