Boys & Girls: J4 Gjovik, Norway, indoor - hard (Week 8)

We have a big turnout in Norway so I've given it its own thread

In the boys, there were R1 wins for:

Matt Rankin; Sam Reeve; and Alex Knox Jones

Will add girls later as results are still pending.

A lot of our younger promising players are here this week in the girls, mostly 14 years old.

There were R1 wins for:

Millie Skelton; Ella McDonald; and Tabitha Holmes

and R1 losses for: Talia Neilson Gatenby and Imogen Haddad

Unfortunately, the trio of R1 winners all then lost in R2

However, in the boys, Matt, Sam and Alex all won their R2 matches and are into the QFs.

Pleasing to see such a good turn out in junior ITFs recently.

Well done to the boys both 2004s.  All girls 2005 born.

Great to see talia is back competing again after a breaking her wrist shortly  after joining the academy.  First match in 7 months was always going to be tough.

Good luck to those in the doubles.

Great result for Sam Reeve beating the number 1 seed 4&3 in the semis!

Alex Knox-Jones losing his SF to seed 2 in 3 sets.
