What was impressive was her come back from *15-40 down in the 11th game. At that point it looked like she could go 5-6* down with Kostova then to serve for the set.
Emma's cool under pressure is another strong facet of her game.
So glad her incident in Glasgow looked way worse that it was
Yes indeed. Very happy to see her back and playing well with no hindrance to her movement. She's outhitting Kostova in rallies too, which Kostova doesn't like at all.

Do you know what Kostova was moaning about to the umpire just now?
Back of her calf muscle it seems. She hit a backhand winner then just collapsed. She didn't fall and wasn't stretching, it was just the position she hit the shot. Hope the treatment she is getting now will allow her to continue. She is just 2 games from winning the match and as last week looking dominant and in control.
Is she clumsy? or has she a weak side or why do those who are watching think that she is down yet again ?
She's not remotely clumsy. Lithe and graceful in her movements, she seems to get to the ball quite effortlessly at times.. her anticipation is excellent. It's possible this is the injury she had last week, but i don't know what exactly that was.
Got to say that Kostova played a really daft game when they resumed.
But great to see Emma seems OK.
She may have stayed down simply because her coach told her, if you feel a twinge, go down immediately, and let someone assess you first before you move. It's common for coaches to say that, just to be ultra safe.
