3 of the top 4 singles seeds in a home 25K and just one Brit into the singles SF.

You weren't one of these seeds, Aidan, indeed beat the #3 seed in R1, but please save the singles week which has gone downhill from so-so.

 But..same event last year we managed just 2 players in last 8 and 1 in the last 4 - admittedly we had none of the top 4 seeds

The following week, Glasgow, we got 4 in QF stage, 2 in the semis.

Not sure we had a third week at M25 level last season. 

So I guess what I am saying is that it feels par for the course...?

So pretty crap last year too 

Looking like bogies both years though higher seeds this year. 

Yes, certainly hope it picks up over the next two weeks and the glimmer from the youngsters stays alight.
