Week 6 - ITF M25 - Barnstaple, Great Britain (indoor hard)

Two youngsters who didn't make it:

Certainly looks like it from the ITF draw sheet.  cry

Jack Draper has sort of gone un-noticed this week, I guess largely because he is expected to win at this level. But he is doing it very comfortably and I suspect once he gets through this GB run and the ranking boost that comes with it, maybe he will start focussing on Challenger events?

But all gone a bit pear-shaped....

In a weird match (score-wise), Jack took the first set 6-0.

But is now 0-5 down in the second.

In a more classic version, Mark lost a first, close set, 4-6, and it's now on serve in the second

I was thinking Jon was speaking to soon when I saw it was 0-5 in the second set only 12 minutes after his post smile cry

I suppose he will get 2 more opportunities on home soil in quick succession, and selfishly, this probably means he's more likely to still play Sunderland, so I might get to see him, whereas if say he made the final here and won Glasgow, or vice versa, then he may have been more inclined to skip it.

And finally, it's Aidan as our last man standing, as he takes out Henry Patten, 7-5 3-6 6-3
