7 Brits through and one more guaranteed, so decent day in Barnstaple!

3 Poles through.

6 qualifiers through so far, 2 still playing. and 2 wildcards still in, so half the last 16 will be made up of qualifiers or wild cards.

making this a very interesting event so far!

Great to see Morgan Phillips get a win in dubs, at age 35 or whatever. Guess he just stood in at the last minute, when Anton needs a partner. Hope Ryan P is ok....(if it's him who was injured)

Hmm, so so day at best in singles in a home 25K.

2 wins out of 6 in the Brit vs Peskie matches. One was by top seed Jack and the other a win by Aidan over the #3 seed by retirement though Aidan did win the first set decisively. Anton's was a disappointing looking loss, the others while much more expected on rankings were pretty decisive.

Certainly some interesting and a bit unexpected results in the all Brit matches which were hopefully more about good performances by the winners such as by Daniel and Mark in their wins over seeds Evan and Ryan respectively. Good to see Arthur and Felix winning.

to be fair on closer look you are right but the names of the 8 Brits through interest me - there seems a decent amount of churn from what we might have seen say 12 months ago and that is probably refreshing.

I am keeping a list of who wins matches over these 3 weeks and it will be interesting to see who comes out top - clearly jack D is likely to get the most wins overall.
