Boys & Girls: J2 Tunis, Tunisia, hard (Week 3b)

There is a plethora of high grade tournaments this week - the Tunisian one being the fifth at Grade 2 or above to start. Ranah Stoiber lost out in qualifying but Kylie Bilchev won a  12-10 match tiebreak to enter the main draw. Eva Shaw's opponent has won her last two tournaments dropping very few games, but it is difficult to gauge her strength as they were in Nigeria/Benin so probably not the strongest opposition.  Lui Maxted is seeded 2 but is unlucky to draw a Spaniard who has concentrated mainly on Pro events of late, beating Arthur Fery in his last M15 event, and has an ATP ranking just outside 1000

Boys R1 (L32)

William Nolan v Pedro Araujo (POR)

Diego Augusto Barreto Sanchez (ESP) v (2) Lui Maxted

Girls R1 (L32)

(Q) Kylie Bilchev v LL

(4) Barakat Oyinlomo Quadre (NIG) v Eva Shaw

Amelia Bissett v Kristina Kudryavtseva (RUS)

Eva (2005) clocks up an excellent win over the 4th seed (although David's reservations about her opponent may well be justified).
